How to Collect Coins in Fortnite Creative Mode

So to complete this Overtime Challenge in Fortnite Battle Royale, you need to exit Battle Royale entirely, and go over to the Creative Mode. You can get here by pressing X/Square on your controller at the main Battle Royale screen, and selecting ‘Creative Mode’ from the options.

When you’ve kicked off Creative Mode in Fortnite, you’ll find yourself on a small icy island, not unlike you would at the start of Battle Royale, before you’re put into the Battle Bus. On this island, you can head over to any of the portals that are immediately ahead of you, because it’s through these that you’re going to be transported to the ‘Feature’ islands, which is where you need to go to complete this challenge.

Take the island that we found ourselves in, for example. When we entered this particular Feature island, we had to collect ten Coins without dying, while jumping over shopping carts that were roaming back and forth throughout the level. Get hit by a single cart, and you’ve got to start all over again.

Collect all 10 Coins, and you’ve completed the island. You’ll now be put back into the small island from before, where you can enter any of the other Feature islands that Epic has placed there for you. All you need to do now is complete additional Feature islands, until you’ve racked up 10 total Coins collected. When you’ve completed this, you’ve completed this one challenge, and you’re one step closer to completing the 13 Overtime Challenges required to get the Fortnite Season 8 Battle Pass for free.
