I have all the star coins from every level of every world, but 9-7 and 9-8 are still unlocked for me. Am I missing something?

If you pause in the Overworld (+ with the wiimote) and choose the Star Coin option you''l be able to see which Star Coins you have and haven't got. You probably missed a secret level, if you're stuck you can always check out the hint movies at Peach's Castle.OkayDude - 11 years ago5   2

Pause on the main map, and go to star coins. If you go to worlds 7 and 8, you should see that there is a level locked in each. There should be a secret area in two levels of those worlds. The secret for 8 is in 8-2, but I'm not exactly sure about 7.megamachopop (Expert) - 11 years ago4   2

You obviously missed 7-6 and 8-7.

World 7, Fortress
There is a hidden path through the wall on a sliding platform below where there are 2 Bob-Omb Cannons on the right side when in the second area. Continue to the Red Flag.

World 8, Stage 2
When you have to travel in the same direction as the spiked balls you'll pass over an orange floor. Past this is a drop in the terrain. Immediately head left through the wall after you drop and left past the orange platforms. Continue to the Red Flag.Kraleck (Expert) - 11 years ago7   7

It's in the fortress in world 7. Once you know it's there somewhere, it should be relatively easy to find, so I'm not gonna give any more clues. :)Sumez - 11 years ago3   4
