Wire Transfer
  • Order total must be $1,000 or more.
  • Your credit card information will be required at the point of sale for a payment authorization hold amounting to 10% of the order total.
  • Bank wires must be received within two business days. If the wire is not received within 3 business days, the order will be canceled at our discretion and the 10% authorization hold will settle as a non-refundable charge on your credit card.
  • Upon receiving your wire, your order will ship within 2 – 3 days, at which point the 10% authorization hold will be removed and you will receive an email with your tracking number.

    Please Note: We only collect your debit/credit card information for security purposes and to enforce our Market Loss Policy. The only time the 10% will be charged is:

    • If the order is cancelled
    • If payment is not remitted within the allotted time

    Market Loss Policy - If we incur a loss as a result of a customer’s failure to complete the transaction that exceeds 10% fund hold, the customer will be responsible for that loss and will be charged accordingly.

Checks/Money Orders
  • Order total must be $300 or more.
  • We will accept a check payment for orders under $ 300.00 but the order will not be eligible for the payment method discount. If you would like to send a check for an order under $ 300.00, please call our customer service team at 1-800-362-9004.
  • Your credit card information will be required at the point of sale to enable a payment authorization hold for 10% of the order total. All check/money order payments are held for 7 business days. Our Return Policy

The Company encourages you to examine your purchase immediately upon receipt, and call our toll free number at 1-800-362-9004 during Customer Service hours in the event of any issues or concerns.

Bullion Items and Final Sale Items – Non-Returnable, Non-Cancellable, Exchanges Only

    1. The term "Bullion Items", for purposes of this provision, refers to ungraded silver, gold, platinum or palladium legal tender coins; and silver, gold, platinum or palladium bars or rounds; as well as any other item advertised or marketed by the Company as a "bullion item", prior to Customer purchase.
      2. The term “Final Sale Items” refers to any item that is marked as a Final Sale in its listing description at the time of purchase.
      3. Bullion Items and Final Sale Items may not be returned or cancelled for any reason, at any time, but in the event of a manufacturer's defect may be exchanged for the same item, within the Company's sole discretion, if otherwise available.

All Other Items – 30-Day Return Policy

    1. For all purchases other than Bullion Items and Final Sale Items, you are entitled to return your purchase from the Company within 30 days of the ship date and receive a full refund of the purchase price, conditioned upon the following:
     
      a. Products cannot be altered, and coins must be in their original coin capsules, and original packaging, complete and in saleable condition, as a condition of any return. If the product has been altered, is not in its original coin capsule, or is otherwise in unsaleable condition, the product will not be accepted for return or exchange; and
       
      b. All documents and bonus items included with the product must also be returned; and ;
       
      c. Returns must include a Return Authorization Number. This number can be obtained from our Customer Service Department by calling toll-free at 1-800-362-9004 during Customer Service hours; and;
       
      d. If the product is not returned with all original packaging and bonus items, is incomplete, or is returned after the 30-day return period, or these conditions are not satisfied, the Company reserves the right not to accept the return or to accept the return subject to a 20% restocking fee, at the Company's sole discretion.
       
    2. Refunds of non-bullion items are for the cost of product only, less any discounts or deductions actually taken off the product price; shipping and handling charges are not refundable, unless otherwise stated by the Company.
     
    3. The Company will refund amounts owed to the customer in the same manner in which the original purchase was made, i.e., credit card purchases will be credited back to the credit card used. Any balance due and owing on a returned item will be deducted from the refunded amount prior to crediting the customer's account.
     
    4. Beyond the 30-day return period, the Company is under no obligation to accept return of any product but may in its discretion do so pursuant to this policy.
     

This is the end of the Product Return Policy. This Agreement was last revised effective January 29, 2019.

Our Cancellation Policy

  • Once an order for any bullion product is placed it may not be cancelled for any reason.
  • Orders for Non-Bullion items may be cancelled by telephone only during normal business hours, provided the item(s) as not already shipped.
  • The determination of what constitutes a bullion item and a non-bullion item will be at the sole discretion of ModernCoinMart.

Our Market Loss Policy

For all bullion orders placed through ModernCoinMart, your price at the time of purchase is locked in, and will not be changed or adjusted. Orders for bullion items may not be cancelled for any reason. In any circumstance that a bullion order is cancelled and refunded, the buyer is fully responsible for the full difference between the purchase price and current selling price. The buyer will also be subject to a 5% bullion cancellation fee. Any market gains on returns are the property of MCM.

MCM Price Beat Policy

We will beat any competitor's price that is on our approved list of competing websites. That list will change from time to time. eBay is not considered a competing site. Dealers that have been in business for only short periods of time, or if in our opinion they are relatively unknown in the industry, will also not qualify.

Here's how it works:
  1. Price beat on bullion is at our discretion as prices change frequently and some sites are often out of date. Additionally, many dealers sell products they don't actually have in stock, a practice we do not engage in with bullion. Finally, determining the price at some sites is a complex process due to hidden fees and shipping charges that do not show up until the final stages of check out. MCM does not charge for domestic shipping and has no hidden fees.
  2. Customer must make sure that the other company is on our list of approved competitor sites. This can be done by asking us about that specific company on the phone or by email. Sales reps are not authorized to disclose our entire list. After you make that determination, email a link to the product to pricebeat@moderncoinmart.com or directly to your sales representative.
  3. The product must be in stock at our company and the competitor, and we may opt to beat on single quantities only. Price used for comparison is the "all-in" price with shipping included. MCM does not charge for domestic shipping.
  4. After all above criteria are met, you will be given a new price.
  5. We reserve the right to decline a price beat if we believe the price posted by the competitor is an error, outdated, or we attempt to buy the coins ourselves from them and are unable to make the purchase.
