Snow kingdom all purple coins - simply
Snow Kingdom, 46/50 purple coins, have looked everywhere?
I found them. Writing down the locations of coins I had already gotten really helped. Will repost guide in separate thread for reference (10-13 were what I missed):
Outside, in initial area:
1-2. Behind the Odyssey.
3-4. On the shore at the SW corner.
5-7. Submerged in the deep water area directly north of the "Above the Ice Well" checkpoint.
8-9. Shortly to the west of the "Above the Ice Well" checkpoint, on land.
10-13. Along the south center edge of the map are a series of three ground-level holes in the wall each covered by two breakable ice chunks. The tunnel that's covered up there has these in it behind the walls where you can't see them.
Inside Shiveria Town, etc.:
14-17. After initially dropping into here, turn around and climb up to one of the corners, to the right if you're facing the pipe.
18-24. Get these seven coins in "Wind-Chill Cavern" which is the area of the four you go through in the story that has all the poison goop and the giant cloud enemies, by possessing said enemies. There's a group of three, and a group of four.
25-27. You'll notice these on a ledge to the left early on while climbing Snowy Mountain (the area of the four with a boss battle).
28-30. Also at Snowy Mountain, there's a secret passage covered in snow just before riding the wind to the boss. Before reaching the secret moon in that passage, drop down for these.
31-33. In "Hollow Crevasse," the area with the chomping pillar monsters (one of the four story areas). Turn to the left immediately upon entering and look up to see these in the air. Use one of the pillar monsters to get up there from ground level.
34-36. Also in "Hollow Crevasse," you'll see these in the air to the right as you begin climbing up using the pillar monsters.
37-39. In "Icicle Cavern," the area with all the icicles and Goombas, you'll see these high on your right as you reach the top. If you managed to stack all seven Goombas it's easy to get these.
40-43. Also in "Icicle Cavern," at the top is an area at the end with several narrow shafts you can use to easily wall jump up, these are at the top of one.
44-46. In the circular hallway of the "waiting room" for the races, behind some snow.
47-50. Also in the "waiting room," in the large chamber just before the slope.
